YSU Hosts International Programming Contest

On the weekend of Oct 25-26 Youngstown State University (YSU), along with three other universities, hosted the celebrated International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in East Central North America (ECNA) region. The ICPC is the largest annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world.

OH-IoT Workshop

We'd like to invite you all to sign up for a free hands-on workshop on Jan 23rd from 1pm-5pm or Jan 30th 1pm-5pm about the Internet of Things that YSU is presenting in cooperation with Youngstown Business Incubator and Cisco. Additionally, students who attend will get a FREE Raspberry Pi 3B+ to keep. These workshops will give you some experience working with some of the base fundamentals of IoT development.

Hack YSU 2019

HackYSU is a hackathon, an event where students of all majors and experience levels come together to create something - normally a creative technology project like an app or website - awesome in a weekend. Students will have 36 hours to create anything they want – software, hardware, a business plan, art, a design, anything – in the pursuit of knowledge, glory, and prizes. Hacks will be exhibited science fair style in a showcase at the end of the weekend. HackYSU is an educational experience. No matter what your experience, you are welcome here.
